Job description

Director And Senior Producer For Wealth Management Channel

Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Director and senior producer to lead coverage of the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Financial Advisor (FA), and broader Wealth Management channel across the United States. This is a senior, client-facing sales role within the Global Derivatives Sales team and represents a strategic priority for Cboe as wealth platforms rapidly expand their use of listed derivatives for income generation, portfolio protection, and capital-efficient exposure.

This role is classified internally as a Professional, P6 Senior Expert, reflecting the seniority, specialized expertise, and enterprise-level impact required. The Director will serve as the lead and senior-most producer on the Wealth Management coverage team and will be recognized both internally and externally as a leading industry authority on listed derivatives for the advisor and wealth channel, applying mastery of the field to shape strategy, resolve the most complex client and market challenges, and influence Cboe's long-term direction in this space.

The Director will own and grow a high-value client franchise spanning independent RIAs, wirehouse and independent broker-dealer financial advisors, family offices, and bank wealth management platforms. Reporting directly to Natalie Reed, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact for wealth-channel clients, driving adoption of Cboe's full suite of listed options and futures products, and translating the power of exchange-traded derivatives into actionable solutions for advisors and their end clients. The role historically also involves heavy interplay with Cboe's Options Institute, Listings and Data Vantage teams, partnering closely on product education, market structure insights, and data-driven content that supports the wealth channel.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Works on enterprise-critical, highly specialized, or strategically important projects. The role may provide direction with or across functions, advise on the most complex matters, and shape future practices, standards, products, services, or functional strategy.
  • Impacts business or functional direction through expert judgment, new approaches, or resolution of critical issues. Decisions and recommendations may inform long-term plans, standards, or strategic choices.
  • Provides expert guidance on critical issues and applies extensive field, business, and technical knowledge to develop new approaches or resolve problems with significant functional or business impact.
  • Identify and develop new client prospects; manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast revenue and engagement metrics for senior leadership.
  • Partner closely with Cboe Listings and Data Vantage Solutions, alongside Cboe Labs, Marketing, Options Institute, Derivatives Market Intelligence, and Global Sales, to create wealth-channel-specific content, research, and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Represent Cboe at industry conferences, client forums, advisor platforms, and educational events; serve as a senior thought leader and spokesperson for listed derivatives in the wealth space.
  • Provide expert-level market intelligence and client feedback to senior leadership and product teams to inform and shape Cboe's strategic roadmap for the wealth channel.
  • Develop and deliver educational programming and content, including webinars, training sessions, and white papers, tailored to advisors at varying levels of derivatives fluency.
  • Coordinate with international sales colleagues to share best practices and identify cross-border opportunities within global wealth platforms.
  • Serve as the senior producer on the Wealth Management coverage team, owning end-to-end coverage of the U.S. RIA, FA, and wealth management client segment; build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key decision-makers across RIAs, wirehouses, IBDs, family offices, and wealth management platforms.
  • Drive revenue and volume growth across Cboe's listed derivatives product suite, including SPX, VIX, and other index options, within the wealth channel.
  • Act as the recognized industry expert and trusted advisor for wealth management clients, delivering market insights, product education, and tailored trading strategies (e.g., income generation, downside).

The ideal candidate has:

Required:

  • 14+ years of financial services sales experience, with deep, established coverage of RIAs, financial advisors, or wealth management firms; candidates must be recognized as a senior producer and industry expert in listed derivatives for the wealth channel.
  • Deep, expert-level knowledge of listed equity and index options (SPX, VIX, ETF options) and/or futures; ability to serve as the definitive derivatives authority for both sophisticated and emerging advisor audiences.
  • Well-established, long-standing relationships within the U.S. RIA and/or wirehouse /IBD ecosystem, reflecting a mature, senior-level network built over 14+ years in the industry.
  • Demonstrated, sustained track record as a top-producing sales professional, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets in a client-facing derivatives or structured products role.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with the gravitas to operate as a senior representative of Cboe with C-suite and executive-level clients.
  • Ability to operate independently and as a senior, high-impact contributor within a collaborative, global team.
  • Willingness to travel across the U.S. to visit clients and attend industry events.

Preferred:

  • Prior senior-level experience at an exchange, options market maker, bank/broker-dealer, or asset manager with a derivatives-focused mandate.
  • Familiarity with model portfolio construction, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and the operational workflows of RIA custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing).
  • Experience with options overlay strategies, defined outcome/buffered ETF products, or risk management programs marketed to the advisor channel.
  • Strong network across advisor platform ecosystems such as CAIS, iCapital, Envestnet, or similar for outcomes that shape standards, direction, or strategic choices within the function or broader enterprise.
