About the Role

Use your technical knowledge and excellent communication skills in RedHat to build trusted relationships and provide technical account management for our customers. The RedHat North America (NA) Telco team is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join us preferably in Philadelphia, PA, Denver, CO or any US location for the right candidate. In this role, you will guide new business with some of RedHat’s most strategic accounts covering the top Cable providers in the US. You’ll help our team create solutions and advocate compelling solutions to customers working with internal product teams and partners. To achieve this, you’ll need passion for open source, a thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and create business solutions at the enterprise level. As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will specialize in architecting RedHat’s open source technology in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

What You Will Do
  • Educate customers on the capabilities of the RedHat solutions portfolio and conduct presentations and live demonstrations of the solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with customers’ technical staff and leadership
  • Identify and qualify opportunities; sell the value of RedHat solutions
  • Manage and carry out complex demos and proofs of concept
  • Architect complex solutions that achieve customer requirements
  • Gain deep understanding of customer environments and use cases and be the advocate for customer priorities with the business unit (BU)
  • Provide overall technical account management
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, or equivalent role with large enterprise accounts
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with emerging technology in areas where RedHat competes including DevOps, microservices, cloud platforms, software defined storage, container platform and orchestration, and virtualization, including NFV Cable industry experience
  • Hybrid cloud experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux in the areas of system administration and integration
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Open source experience (preferred)
  • Practical experience with RedHat or competitive solutions (preferred)
  • RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) (preferred)
Compensation

Salary range: $211,650.00 - $349,250.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Pay transparency includes base pay, bonus, commission, and/or equity. Actual offer based on qualifications.
