Job description

A School-Based Therapist (PT/FT) with Encompass Christian Counseling partners with school officials to provide support and mental health and case management services to students and families at assigned schools.
This position would start as Part-Time, With the potential to go to Full-Time

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's level Social Worker (LSW) - Master's degree strongly preferred - or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
  • Experience working with students and families strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct. Treat others with Christ-like attitude, while helping them experience their worth in Christ, and demonstrating behaviors reflecting CCHO's core values of Relentless Commitment, Selflessness, and Kindness.
  • TEAM first.
  • Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan.
  • Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses.
  • Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client.
  • Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
  • Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.

This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all of the following: background checks (fingerprints required), drug test, reference checks, Department of Justice National sex offender search, Ohio (and other states of residence) Alleged Perpetrator Search, as well as other checks as required by our licensing agency.
Candidates for most jobs must be 21 or older to apply. References, background checks, and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Direct care positions will require a pre-employment physical, as required by our licensing agency. Must be able to commute reliably for all on-site positions. Some roles require a valid Ohio driver's license and an insurable driving record. EOE.
