Job Overview:

Company: Henson Construction LLC.

Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000 to $120,000 per year plus Performance Bonus.

Location: Louisville, KY (Field Based / Travel as Required).

Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

Project Scope: Commercial Restaurant Construction.

Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License Required.


The Opportunity:

Henson Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial restaurant construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This position is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple moving pieces while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field teams. You will work closely with company leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards our clients expect.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Manage commercial restaurant construction projects from planning and procurement through final turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and material procurement timelines.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project costs, track change orders, and maintain profitability objectives.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and proactively resolve project challenges that could impact safety, quality, budget, or schedule.
  • Ensure projects comply with all applicable building codes, safety standards, and company expectations.
  • Prepare project reports, forecasts, and updates for company leadership.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch list management, final documentation, and client turnover.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience managing restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to project sites as needed.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience managing ground-up and renovation restaurant construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building codes and permitting processes.
  • Experience working directly with franchise or national restaurant brands.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
