This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work setting while still providing meaningful engagement with patients. The Mental Health Counselor will operate under a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility based on patient needs. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ needs, leading to the development of comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy—to deliver individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
• Facilitate supportive and psychoeducational group sessions that nurture a sense of community while addressing common mental health issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure cohesive patient care and interventions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services when necessary, responding promptly to mental health emergencies to stabilize patients.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance therapeutic skills.
• Stay informed on current research and developments within the mental health field to apply the latest insights into practice.

The Mental Health Counselor at Haña will work with a diverse patient population across various demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clinic seeks to address and support clients dealing with prevalent mental health conditions while fostering a compassionate, inclusive, and understanding atmosphere.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic approaches.
• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and crafting impactful treatment plans.
• Experience working with diverse communities and delivering both individual and group therapies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Commitment to adhering to ethical standards and maintaining professional boundaries at all times.
• Comfortable with technology and adept in EHR systems to track patient progress and documentation.

• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient clinic setting is highly advantageous.
• Expertise in specific modalities such as trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing would be beneficial.
• A track record of engaging in continuous professional development activities, including courses or certifications in specialized treatment approaches.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
