• Conduct thorough and compassionate clinical assessments, utilizing your expertise to formulate personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies tailored to the hospice context.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), helping clients develop coping strategies and resilience in the face of illness.
• Manage comprehensive documentation of clinical interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations, as well as maintaining the high ethical standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated care to clients and their families, enriching the support network available during their hospice experience.
• Participate in regular case consultation and peer review sessions, leveraging the collective knowledge of your colleagues to enhance care quality and stay current with best practices in mental health.
• Offer education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources that can assist in managing the emotional impact of terminal illness.
• Keep abreast of new research and advancements in psychological practice, integrating relevant findings into your therapeutic approach to offer the highest quality of care possible.

In this role, you will primarily engage with clients in hospice care, providing them with compassionate support as they navigate complex emotional challenges associated with end-of-life issues. Your work will be instrumental in helping individuals process their experiences, address feelings of grief, and find meaning during a crucial phase of their lives. You will also work with families, guiding them through the emotional landscape of their loved ones' experiences to foster understanding and resilience.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, exemplifying your dedication to clinical excellence and knowledge.
• A valid and active LICSW license to practice in Washington state, affirming your professional capability and commitment to ethical practice.
• Experience with solution-based psychotherapy techniques, allowing you to creatively tailor interventions that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or working with terminally ill patients is highly desirable.

• Annual salary between USD 90,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
