Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to meet the needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient therapy sessions and assessments in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, attending meetings and contributing to comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Assist in the development of treatment programs and provide training to other staff in areas related to mental health counseling.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients, families, and referring providers to ensure optimal care and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training for specialty areas, promoting continuous growth in your counseling practice.
• Fulfill miscellaneous duties as assigned, ensuring all responsibilities align with the organization's commitment to excellence in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Caring Life Counseling, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required for this position.
• State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
