This full-time, remote position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, along with a robust benefits package. As a remote mental health counselor, you will work from the comfort of your home while utilizing our telehealth platform to connect with clients. • Form positive and trusting relationships with clients through empathetic communication and active listening.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances of each client.
• Engage clients in regular counseling sessions via telehealth platforms to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to guide individuals, couples, and families toward achieving their mental health goals.
• Carry out ongoing assessments of client progress to ensure effective treatment delivery and optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering connection and shared learning among peers.
• Provide crisis intervention and assessment for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring immediate support and referrals as needed.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population experiencing varying mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families seeking to improve their overall quality of life through enhanced mental health strategies. Your ability to understand and relate to patients from different backgrounds will be vital for fostering effective therapeutic alliances.

• A valid and active Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• A current license to practice in Washington State as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in an outpatient mental health setting, with proven clinical skills.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling abilities, combined with a talent for motivating clients and inspiring change.
• Competency in various computer applications, including telehealth software, electronic medical records, word processing, and spreadsheet programs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

While not required, additional certifications in specialized therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be considered an asset. Previous experience working with families or couples in therapy will also enhance your candidacy.
