• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using solution-based, evidence-driven interventions that cater to the specific needs of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting approaches as necessary to meet the evolving needs of clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with state regulations and meets the standards of healthcare reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in patient care.
• Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and substance abuse counselors, to provide integrated care that addresses both psychiatric and substance use issues.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer reviews, fostering an environment of shared learning and quality improvement.
• Empower patients and their families through education regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, promoting self-advocacy and informed decision-making.
• Stay current with latest research findings and developments in mental health to ensure the most effective practices are being employed within client interventions.

The patients you will serve at our clinic come from various backgrounds, facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals achieve their mental health goals, supporting them as they navigate their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, with a clear focus on treating mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in treatment modalities such as solution-focused therapy.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.

While the required qualifications are essential, candidates with additional experience in integrated care settings or familiarity with detox and substance use treatment will be highly regarded. Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for clinical documentation will also be beneficial.
