This position offers the flexibility of working remotely within a structured outpatient setting, allowing you to support clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a vital connection to our practice. You will have access to electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and facilitate efficient care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and establish their treatment needs.
• Design and implement customized therapeutic interventions based on identified issues, employing evidence-based practices suited for each individual case.
• Engage in regular therapy sessions, offering support and practical strategies to aid clients in navigating their challenges and achieve therapy goals.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or support groups, when necessary, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases, progress, and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative approach to care.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, as well as individuals coping with substance abuse issues. This role requires a strong understanding of various cultural backgrounds and mental health presentations, as you will be providing services to an eclectic client base, ensuring sensitivity and responsiveness to all individual needs.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in providing mental health counseling services, demonstrating expertise in diverse clinical settings.
• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong ability to conduct individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive methods to address a wide range of issues.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, ensuring the ability to assist clients in high-stress situations while maintaining composure.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools necessary for effective practice management.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Experience working with specialized populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Background in community mental health settings or with integrated care models to enhance treatment efficacy.
