Rise and Recover Counseling Services is looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated outpatient services team. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Rise and Recover, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing personalized therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
• Conducting detailed assessments to evaluate clients' relational and mental health requirements, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Utilizing family systems theory to effectively address relationship dynamics, improve communication, and alleviate family stressors.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention when needed, ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of clients at critical moments.
• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Equipping clients with essential skills for building healthy relationships, effective communication, and coping strategies that enhance their mental health.
• Collaborating with fellow therapists, clinicians, and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, fostering multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy practices.

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients facing various challenges, including relationship difficulties, emotional distress, and psychological concerns. You will help guide individuals and families through complex situations, supporting them in achieving their therapeutic goals and enhancing their overall quality of life. The clients we serve often seek support for issues such as communication barriers, family conflict, and the emotional impact of trauma, addiction, and grief.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• At least one year of experience providing therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse clients.
• A commitment to maintaining the ethical and confidential nature of counseling practices.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling according to client needs.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient therapy settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and a strong foundation in crisis intervention techniques will also be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 - 90,000 annually, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. Benefits include:
