Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings, utilizing standardized testing tools to evaluate the mental health status of clients, and collaboratively create individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote effective coping strategies and healing.
  • Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, embracing an integrative care model to ensure a comprehensive support system for each client.
  • Provide consistent support and education to clientsโ€™ families, helping them understand mental health challenges and the recovery process, enhancing their involvement in care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and outcomes.
  • Engage in regular supervision and training, allowing for ongoing personal and professional growth within therapeutic methods and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds and possess various socioeconomic statuses, enabling you to enhance your cultural competency and therapeutic skills. Your role is not only to provide therapy but also to advocate for clients, ensuring they receive tailored support that reflects their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid professional license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic techniques and approaches relevant to mental health counseling, showcasing a clear understanding of various disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families, fostering trust and support throughout their recovery journey.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and maintain timely documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or clinic environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation.
