Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility for clients seeking outpatient care.
  • Conduct detailed assessments to understand clientsโ€™ relational dynamics and mental health needs, formulating personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.
  • Apply family systems theory along with systemic interventions to address and effectively manage relationship dynamics, communication difficulties, and familial stressors.
  • Offer immediate support and crisis intervention, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients and their families during critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of treatment processes.
  • Educate clients on effective communication styles, conflict resolution techniques, and coping mechanisms to enhance their relational and emotional health.
  • Work synergistically with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive and integrated client care.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy through ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Harmony House, you will work with a varied clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your role will encompass addressing a wide range of issues, from marital discord and communication barriers to individual mental health concerns. Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.
  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
