Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Lead engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, ensuring clients feel supported and understood in their healing journeys.
• Collaborate closely with families, medical professionals, and other counselors to improve the continuity of care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment methods to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client cases and share insights that can enhance therapy practices and overall client experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• An active state license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD) is necessary for this position.
• Demonstrable proficiency with technology, especially Google Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems, to facilitate efficient client management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings or similar therapeutic environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be beneficial to client engagement and outcomes.
