Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a full-time remote LPC to join our team. Our ideal candidate is driven by the mission to expand access to solution-focused mental health care for millions across the United States, and is eager to offer compassionate support to individuals navigating various mental health challenges.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a forward-thinking community health clinic based in Lansing, Michigan, dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to underserved populations. We believe that everyone deserves access to professional support regardless of their geographical location. Our clinic employs innovative, solution-based approaches that focus on empowering individuals to take control of their mental health and improve their overall quality of life. As a member of our team, you will be contributing to a larger mission of expanding mental health care access and helping foster a more compassionate society.

Work Environment

This position offers a completely remote work environment, allowing you to provide counseling from the comfort of your own home or any location of your choice. We respect the need for work-life balance and support flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle. You will be part of a fully remote team that collaborates using advanced technology platforms to provide exceptional care while minimizing administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Implement solution-based treatment modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a path of self-discovery and healing.
  • Develop and frequently update individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health concerns and promote progress toward set goals.
  • Guide clients in exploring their experiences, feelings, and relationships to gain deeper insights and awareness, enhancing their coping mechanisms.
  • Regularly monitor client progress throughout sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to promote effective and positive outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults facing a range of mental health issues. Your focus will be on providing empathetic support and encouragement, helping clients develop the skills necessary to navigate their circumstances and enhance their quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to positively influence the lives of individuals who are committed to improving their mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential, with the ability to practice independently without supervision.
  • No disciplinary actions should exist on your professional license.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor when working with clients.
  • Proficiency in using technology and software to facilitate counseling sessions and manage administrative tasks effectively.
Preferred Experience

While experience in various counseling settings is valued, we specifically encourage candidates with experience in solution-based methodologies and remote counseling platforms to apply. Familiarity with telehealth practices and working with diverse populations will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
  • A generous sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates.
  • Weekly direct deposit to ensure timely payments.
  • A monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors to support your personal well-being.
  • Reduced administrative workload through our counselor portal, allowing you to focus predominantly on patient care.

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we believe in investing in our employees' professional growth. As a remote LPC, you will have access to ongoing training and development programs aimed at enhancing your skills in mental health counseling. You may also have opportunities for advancement within the organization as we continue to expand and innovate our services.

Why Join Our Team
  • Enjoy the flexibility to create your own schedule based on your availability, allowing for optimal work-life balance.
  • Counsel clients aligned with your specialties and demographic preferences, making your work more fulfilling and effective.
  • Benefit from an operational framework that provides unlimited referrals, enabling you to establish a full caseload promptly, often within the first month of joining.
  • Contribute to meaningful patient outcomes while enjoying minimal paperwork, as our administration team handles billing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of like-minded professionals dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
