Summary:
The value is to represent the Actuator, Governor for Turbines (AGT) business line in the USA to generate an increasing profitable business with AGT products and services. This includes all steps of the sales process and after-sales support. Position holder needs access to the relevant industries as end-user retrofit in downstream and nuclear business and shall preferably come from targeted customers
This position contains at least 25% travel in the USA.
Responsibilities:
  • Consult customers (operators, EPC, end users) in all technical and commercial issues
  • Accompany the whole sales process of AGT products and services
  • Convince customers of the benefits using Voith products and expertise in their applications
  • Extend business with existing and new customers
  • Ensure getting the planned order intake
  • Perform market analysis and derivate appropriate actions
  • Identify appropriate service partners (retrofitters)

Auxiliary Tasks
  • Create presentations for retrofit solutions
  • Perform customer and partner training
  • Visit turbomachinery exhibitions
  • Competitive intelligence

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics and controls engineering on turbomachinery
  • Experience in I&C at Turbomachinery
  • Understanding of sales in general
  • Communicate clearly with people at all levels and positions internally and externally
  • Must be able to work with remote teams including 3rd party partners and Voith employees and customers on-site and off-site
