As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily tasks will involve:

• Maintaining accurate clinical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in accordance with department policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Implementing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize client care.
• Communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to discuss patient progress, address concerns, and adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Facilitating both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, applying therapeutic modalities appropriate to client needs, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for vulnerable discussions.
• Engaging in continuous education and self-care practices to enhance personal resilience and professional effectiveness in your therapeutic approach.

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse client populations, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, stress management, substance abuse, and other mental health challenges. Utilizing culturally competent approaches, you will provide tailored support to each client, respecting their unique backgrounds and experiences. Your efforts will significantly contribute to their recovery journey, empowering them to reclaim their emotional health and well-being.

To qualify for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
• Hold a current Associate or Licensed status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, including LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC credentials.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing virtual counseling services, demonstrating proficiency in telehealth platforms.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining detailed and compliant documentation.
• Have a well-equipped home office conducive to therapy sessions, including access to necessary technological tools.

Preferred candidates will bring additional experience in:

• Utilizing evidence-based practices in therapy, particularly in a virtual environment.
• Managing complex cases and creating comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care post-therapy.
• Engaging in community outreach and education relating to mental health awareness.
