• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, facilitating accurate treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans focusing on their individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and families about mood disorders, treatment methods, and self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, allowing for real-time adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to deliver an integrated approach to patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest research in mood disorders, continuously evolving your therapeutic techniques to reflect current best practices.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in a manner fully compliant with legal and ethical guidelines, prioritizing confidentiality.
• Participate actively in professional development, case consultations, and team meetings to foster clinical excellence.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and engage in community outreach to help reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Our innovative mental health center serves a diverse clientele, primarily comprised of adults struggling with a range of mood disorders. As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Oracle Counseling Center, you will provide compassionate care to individuals grappling with conditions such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, enabling them to navigate their mental health challenges through tailored therapeutic support.

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Proven experience of at least two years post-licensure in providing direct mental health services focused on mood disorders.
• Strong command of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT and DBT.
• In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and a collaborative spirit to partner with psychiatrists.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to relate to individuals from various backgrounds openly and empathetically.

While a two-year post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with substantial academic foundations or relevant internships may also apply, provided they can demonstrate competence in therapeutic settings focusing on mood disorders.

The compensation for this role is competitive, offering a salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. In addition to financial remuneration, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
