• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized therapy strategies.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring approaches according to the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize an array of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic client care.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.
• Engage in regular professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay ahead of advancements in mental health research and therapy techniques.

Your work at Molina Behavioral Health Center will involve supporting a diverse clientele, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertinent to mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, facilitating rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and relevant technology for documentation and client management.

• Specialized training or experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse recovery.
• Previous experience in community mental health settings or with culturally diverse populations is a plus.
• Fluency in a second language is advantageous and may improve communication with clients.
