Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work as part of our outpatient service model, enabling you to engage with clients in a way that best suits their needs. Our team operates with a Monday through Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 4 PM, while maintaining some flexibility based on client appointments and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address various mental health issues effectively.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to enhance the quality of care for every patient.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering an atmosphere of continuous learning and improvement.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them on their journey to recovery.
• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mental health care to provide the most effective support to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served by Vital Care Psychological Services range from children and adolescents to adults, encompassing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This diverse population allows counselors to employ a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions, helping each individual on their personalized path to mental well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrable experience and proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques to deliver individualized care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically in complex and challenging situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with a diverse client population, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and tools, given the remote nature of this position.
