• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique mental health needs.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness interventions.
• Serve as a guide and advocate for clients, facilitating their journey toward improved mental well-being through regular telehealth sessions.
• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document sessions and update treatment plans in compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines, while safeguarding client confidentiality.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance skills and share insights with peers.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Denton Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals with mood disorders, anxiety-related issues, trauma histories, and substance use disorders. Our approach emphasizes cultural competence and responsiveness, ensuring an inclusive environment that respects each client's background and experiences.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated ability to manage various patient populations.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems effectively for documentation and client management.
