Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clientsโ€™ unique mental health needs.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness interventions.
  • Serve as a guide and advocate for clients, facilitating their journey toward improved mental well-being through regular telehealth sessions.
  • Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document sessions and update treatment plans in compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines, while safeguarding client confidentiality.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance skills and share insights with peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Denton Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals with mood disorders, anxiety-related issues, trauma histories, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
