Intermountain Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This full-time remote position allows you the flexibility to provide high-quality mental health care to diverse clients, including children, adolescents, and families. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health needs, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and document progress through ongoing assessments and case notes in alignment with company protocols.
  • For full-time clinicians, maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client sessions per week, ensuring effective and timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists, case managers, families, and other professionals to create a network of support that meets clientsโ€™ needs holistically.
  • Utilize innovative and creative therapeutic interventions tailored to each individualโ€™s goals and challenges.
  • Coordinate care with schools, medical staff, and other relevant organizations to ensure a cohesive support system for clients.
  • Attend and contribute to clinical staff meetings to share insights, participate in team-building activities, and refine therapeutic approaches.
  • Effectively model and maintain professional boundaries with clients, ensuring a safe and respectful therapeutic environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a varied and diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families from different cultural backgrounds. This role is especially suited for therapists who are adept at connecting with clients from a range of experiences. Special emphasis is placed on inclusivity; therefore, candidates who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid LMFT PA clinical license is essential.
  • Experience with clinical documentation practices, including assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes, is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to submit documentation of services diligently and promptly.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and specialized Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.
  • Capability to navigate diverse clinical situations with cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience providing therapy in a community health setting or similar environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in integrating creative therapeutic approaches into practice.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to new hires. Our compensation package includes:
