Join Our Team as a U.S. Business Immigration Paralegal

At Vialto Law (US) LLP, we help multinational organizations navigate the complexities of U.S. business immigration with precision, strategy, and care. Our approach is holistic and employee-focused, backed by a high-performing team of U.S. attorneys and Business Immigration Analysts operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

As a Business Immigration Paralegal, you will play a vital role in managing complex employment-based immigration cases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing strategic solutions that support global workforce mobility. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and legal teams to deliver efficient and impactful immigration outcomes.

We are proud to be affiliated with Vialto Partners โ€”the world's first tech-enabled, people-first global mobility companyโ€”enabling integrated collaboration across immigration, tax, business travel, compensation, and remote work compliance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Immigration Paralegal to support our multinational clients in navigating the U.S. employment-based immigration process. Under the supervision of licensed attorneys, you will lead complex casework, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to program optimizationโ€”while leveraging technology to drive efficiency and ensure exceptional client service.

What You'll Do

  • Draft and prepare complex employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including PERM and Adjustment of Status filings.
  • Respond to client inquiries via email, providing timely updates and handling reporting and data requests.
  • Lead program management efforts for key client accounts and drive special projects to enhance immigration processes.
  • Deliver training to junior team members on U.S. immigration policies, workflows, and best practices.
  • Stay current on U.S. immigration law, regulatory updates, and industry trends to ensure compliance and service excellence.
  • Leverage automation and technology to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience.
  • Apply data-driven insights to support decision-making and optimize immigration strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings and offer consultative, strategic guidance.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy and quality across all casework and client deliverables.
  • Uphold the firm's values, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration.
  • Paralegal certificate or university degree preferred.
  • Strong interest in continuous learning and leveraging digital tools to enhance immigration services.
  • Familiarity with Vialto Law's tech-driven solutions (e.g., the myMobility app, Mobility Moments, and Mobility Brand initiatives on LinkedIn) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a client-first mindset and collaborative approach.

Additional Information

  • Regular / Full Time
  • San Diego Office: 1420 Kettner Blvd., San Diego, CA 92101
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 - 5 days in the office
  • Compensation Range: $48,000 - $109,000

Compensation is determined based on geographic location, years of relevant experience, education, and overall qualifications.
