Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to thoroughly understand clientsโ€™ mental health needs and craft personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.
  • Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for each client.
  • Provide crisis intervention during acute distress situations, applying compassionate support while utilizing crisis management techniques to stabilize clients and ensure their safety.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness and providing resources to the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is to serve a diverse client base that may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing you to enhance your cultural competence and tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications
  • An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and the development of therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • A strong commitment to cultural competence, demonstrating sensitivity and resourcefulness in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-ups for client care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in assessing and treating a variety of mental health disorders.
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred, providing insight into the dynamics of community-based mental health services.
Compensation and Benefits
