• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing their individual needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions through various modalities, including individual therapy, group therapy, and, if applicable, family therapy.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate positive outcomes for clients in managing mental health challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and treatment plans within our client management system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to client care, coordinating with outside agencies when necessary.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies to promote self-management.
• Participate in regular team meetings aimed at continuously improving the quality of care provided.

Our clients represent a diverse array of backgrounds, including various ethnicities, age groups, and socio-economic statuses. As a counselor at Speak Up Counseling Solutions, you'll engage with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will enable you to provide culturally competent care that meets the needs of our unique client base.

• A Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or eligibility for licensure.
• Proven experience (a minimum of 2 years) delivering therapeutic services to a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Commitment to providing affirming, culturally competent care that respects the dignity and individuality of every client.

While 2 years of experience is required, candidates with specific experience in trauma-informed care, group therapy facilitation, or work with at-risk populations will be preferred. Familiarity with integrated behavioral health models and community resources in California would also be beneficial.
