As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of clinical duties, including:

• Delivering personalized clinical services based on the individuals' needs through well-developed treatment plans.
• Conducting continuous assessments to modify treatment strategies as required.
• Creating, monitoring, and implementing individual service plans that align with recovery goals.
• Facilitating the development of coping, problem-solving, social, and communication skills among clients.

• Setting up regular check-ins to evaluate treatment progress and adjust approaches for optimal outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on individuals aged 18 and over who may be facing challenges in achieving community stability and independence due to mental health issues. This includes providing effective care to a diverse spectrum of mental health conditions, supporting clients as they manage their symptoms, and helping them regain autonomy in their lives.

To qualify for this role, you will need to possess the following:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Ability to practice independently and provide supervised care with no disciplinary actions on your license.
• Demonstrated capability to provide direct clinical services in a mental health setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect empathy with effective treatment strategies.
• Basic computer literacy to maintain electronic health records and facilitate virtual sessions.
• A reliable internet connection for uninterrupted remote work.

While not strictly required, candidates with a wealth of experience in delivering personalized care in mental health settings, specific training in therapeutic modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—and familiarity with community mental health resources will be highly regarded. Moreover, experience in managing complex cases, along with a passion for ongoing professional development, will ensure success in this role.
