This position will be performed in a fully remote setting, enabling you to connect with clients through our telehealth platform. • Conduct individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address specific client needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and medical personnel to create and implement holistic treatment and care plans.
• Provide guidance and support to family members who are navigating mental health challenges.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Support clients in developing coping mechanisms and life skills that foster their recovery journey.

As an LMHC at Clark Mental Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. You will play a vital role in reducing stigma around mental health and providing them with the tools to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• A current, active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Massachusetts.
• Proficiency in understanding mental health medications and their implications in therapy.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor essential for building client trust and rapport.

Ideally, candidates will possess at least 2 years of experience in a clinical or community health setting, demonstrating a strong background in providing therapy services. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by remote clients will be an added asset to your profile.
