Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of each client.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care strategies, integrating feedback from various professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and updated clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices by participating in inter-organizational workshops and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our patient population includes individuals and families who often have limited access to mental health services, underscoring the importance of our mission to serve marginalized communities in El Paso, Texas.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care.
• A strong understanding of mental health legal and ethical standards and a demonstrated ability to uphold these standards in practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and a knack for utilizing technology in the counseling process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload capacity.
