Arrowhead Family and Marriage Consulting LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients, facilitating their emotional and mental well-being. You will work closely with primary care providers to integrate behavioral health services into overall patient care, ensuring our clients receive the utmost support in their journeys toward improved mental health.

Work Environment

In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from a location of your choice while connecting with clients through our secure telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes and perform diagnostic evaluations, making personalized treatment recommendations to primary care providers.
  • Provide targeted therapeutic interventions and brief counseling to clients dealing with varying mental health challenges.
  • Assist in identifying โ€œat-riskโ€ patients and develop effective treatment plans to address and mitigate their conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, adapting treatment strategies as necessary, and ensure that all care aligns with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly in clinical records, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.
  • Advise primary care providers on the mental health needs of patients, distinguishing those who may require specialty mental health referrals.
  • Facilitate connections between patients and relevant community resources for continued support.
  • Promote self-management and coping strategies with patients to empower them in their treatment journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, representing various cultural backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. As a counselor at Arrowhead, you will engage with individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. A sensitivity to the unique needs of families and individuals, as well as an understanding of the impact of mental health on overall well-being, is essential in this role.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
  • A current, valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning methodologies, and various therapeutic modalities.
  • Proficiency in psychodiagnostics, including familiarity with DSM-V diagnostic criteria.
Preferred Experience
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory, allowing for a broader reach within our community.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is highly desirable, particularly in integrated health care environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
