Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to determine individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and uphold ethical standards and legal guidelines pertinent to counseling practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and staying informed of the latest advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with River Edge Developmental, LLC, you will primarily serve a varied patient population, addressing issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and substance misuse. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to connect and build rapport with each individual will be essential in facilitating their journey toward emotional healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, preferably within a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards in the counseling field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialization in areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software to maintain client records.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and workload. Additional benefits include:
