Position Overview

The Adult Mental Disability Solution Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor, holding credentials such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical and support staff to facilitate coordinated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's treatment plan are addressed.
  • Engage with community partners such as schools, social services, and healthcare agencies to provide seamless access to services for clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health issues and the importance of treatment adherence.
  • Demonstrate cultural competency by addressing the unique backgrounds, languages, and needs of the clients served, promoting inclusivity in therapeutic settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in accordance with organizational policies and funding requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is serving individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges from diverse backgrounds. You will work with a varied client population, which may include children, adolescents, adults, and families in crisis. Your understanding of trauma-informed care will be vital in delivering services that are respectful and responsive to the individual needs of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Must possess an active license in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical, community, or similar setting preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital record-keeping systems.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, based on your caseload and experience.
