Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Crestwood Care Consultants, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the clinical care of a diverse caseload of clients, demonstrating proficiency and commitment to best practices in mental health care.
  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, recording assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic health record system.
  • Utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess the psychological needs of patients and families, collaborating with them to develop and implement effective resolution strategies.
  • Delivering crisis intervention when needed and guiding clients through therapeutic interventions to navigate challenging circumstances.
  • Providing educational and supportive programs to patients and their families, ensuring comprehensive mental health support.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback to adapt care strategies as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with clients who face a variety of psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. This diverse clientele may range from children and adolescents to adults, requiring a tailored approach to each individual’s circumstances. Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling, along with the necessary licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting, where they have honed their skills in therapeutic techniques and client care. Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus, but we provide training to ensure you are comfortable navigating our systems.

Compensation and Benefits

At Crestwood Care Consultants, we value our staff and offer competitive compensation as follows:

  • Flexible scheduling: Choose from 5 to 40 hours per week, allowing you the autonomy to design your work schedule.
  • Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $135,000 per year for full-time therapists, with additional bonuses up to $2,000 based on state licensure.
  • Attractive sign-on bonus of up to $1,500.
