Clinicians at Discover Mind Counseling Aid are empowered to set their own schedules to better accommodate client needs. You will be working from the comfort of your home while connecting with a diverse clientele through our telehealth platform. We utilize cutting-edge technology to facilitate seamless communication and documentation, enabling you to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional client care.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintain a consistent caseload of 25-30 clients per week, skillfully managing client appointments through our telehealth system.
• Engage in ongoing documentation practices including clinical assessments, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, adhering to Discover Mind’s established guidelines.
• Provide consistent, excellent client services while collaborating with a dynamic team that shares a commitment to bridging gaps in community mental health care.
• Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving and surpassing their mental health goals.
• Coordinate care with case managers, families, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a holistic approach.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Discover Mind, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Our client population presents varying challenges, including relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, and behavioral problems. Your therapeutic approach will be central to helping clients navigate their struggles and foster positive outcomes in their personal lives.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• Strong foundational knowledge of family therapy principles and community resources.
• Experience in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and comprehensive clinical case notes is critical.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to a diverse client base.
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while fostering trust and rapport.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in various therapeutic settings.
• Capacity to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, enabling smooth transitions to virtual therapy.
• Familiarity with billing and fee collection processes is advantageous.
• Prior experience in community mental health settings or similar environments that prioritize holistic care is preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary range from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
