Work Environment

In this remote setting, you will conduct counseling sessions from the comfort of your own home. We provide access to a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform that ensures privacy and confidentiality for both counselors and clients. All necessary technology, such as a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, will be provided to facilitate seamless communication and case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert counseling services through virtual sessions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize the cloud-based EHR to maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with insurance requirements, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on identifying issues related to mental health and developing effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment programs targeted at managing symptoms of mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Maintain high standards of client safety and confidentiality while promoting a nurturing therapeutic environment.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide integrated care and make referrals when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LPC, you will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct mental health counseling experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.
• Proficiency in telehealth technology, including video platforms and EHR systems.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer equipped with a webcam and high-speed internet access.
• The capacity to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
• A commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and various types of mental health conditions.
• Familiarity with telehealth service delivery and best practices in remote counseling.
• Experience in creating and implementing evidence-based treatment interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

Discover Mind Counseling Aid offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
