Positive Pathways Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients to establish and pursue individualized treatment goals through tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Deliver prevention-oriented therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and methodologies to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
  • Coordinate with external treatment providers and community resources, ensuring clients receive holistic and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, completing accurate session notes and treatment evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, contributing to the cultural enrichment and growth of the team.
  • Promote a positive and healing environment that supports clients and enhances team dynamics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a valued therapist at Positive Pathways, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients seeking mental health support. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds, experiencing a multitude of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be critical in guiding them toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • A valid, fully licensed LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; a Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 1 year) in mental health counseling or a related field, showcasing your understanding of therapeutic practices.
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources will be an advantage, enhancing your ability to connect clients with additional support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and effectively collaborating with colleagues.
  • Strong leadership qualities, enabling you to inspire and support both clients and fellow team members.
Preferred Experience
