Growth and Grace Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding team. This full-time position is primarily remote, utilizing a telehealth platform to offer compassionate care to clients across Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in improving clients' mental health by conducting assessments and delivering tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Conduct initial assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation of each case from consultation to treatment completion.
• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health using established assessment tools and methodologies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and support groups.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on evolving needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and nursing staff to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide referrals as needed, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Assist families and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health conditions, fostering a supportive home environment.

This role primarily focuses on diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will address a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and trauma. With a commitment to cultural sensitivity, you will create an inclusive environment that respects each client's unique background and experiences.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
• Successful completion and passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to convey information clearly and empathetically.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a remote setting, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems like AVATAR is preferred for efficient documentation and compliance.
• Experience in dealing with clients suffering from co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, including addiction disorders.
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and comprehensive knowledge of the effects of prescribed medications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, displaying a compassionate demeanor and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
