Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that highlight the unique experiences of each patient, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are culturally responsive and resonate with each patient’s individual background.
• Deliver various therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focused on enhancing resilience and mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization to affected individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will directly impact a diverse client base, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ persons, and various immigrant communities. It’s crucial for candidates to understand and navigate the complexities these populations may face in accessing mental health services, ensuring that care is tailored to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license to practice as an LIMFT, LPCC, or LISW in the state of Nevada.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders alongside competency in evidence-based treatment methodologies and cultural sensitivity.
• Experience delivering therapy in both individual and group settings with a focus on inclusive practices.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills with a calm and resourceful approach during emergencies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling the establishment of rapport with a wide range of individuals.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth platforms.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits
