Work Environment

This position will be conducted in a remote setting, providing flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining a connection with our dedicated team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their mental health status and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address pressing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and culturally responsive methods to engage clients effectively.
  • Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide referrals and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Utilize crisis intervention skills to manage emergency situations effectively, ensuring patient safety and security.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health strategies, resources, and coping mechanisms to foster empowerment and self-management.
  • Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries in all interactions while ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population reflecting various backgrounds, cultures, and mental health experiences. Your expertise will be vital in addressing different mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance dependency issues. You will provide empathetic support and culturally competent care, ensuring that each patient feels valued and understood.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • A minimum of four years of related experience providing mental health counseling services.
  • Proven understanding of a wide range of mental health disorders and treatments, alongside cultural competence in therapy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, capable of maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications to manage patient information effectively.
  • A commitment to upholding professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver holistic care.
  • Background in implementing community outreach initiatives or workshops focused on mental health awareness.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
