Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and utilize solution-focused interventions to create personalized treatment plans for each client.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as participate in case consultations and peer reviews.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available community resources, promoting a deeper understanding of treatment options.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health care and evidence-based practices to enhance the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Nevada.
• Proven ability to apply solution-based psychotherapy techniques in a manner that is adaptable to each individual’s unique situation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging clients and collaborating with peers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills required for evaluating and addressing client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred but not required.
