Are you a dedicated mental health professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression? Diamond Behavioral Health Center, located in Lowell, Massachusetts, is inviting licensed mental health therapists (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based therapy to a diverse client base, fostering their personal growth and resilience through comprehensive mental health services.

About the Organization

At Diamond Behavioral Health Center, we pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering top-quality mental health care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our team of expert therapists works closely with psychiatrists and psychologists to provide integrated care that meets the individual needs of our clients. Our outpatient services thrive on evidence-based practices, ensuring that clients receive the most effective interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Work Environment

Our remote work setting emphasizes flexibility while prioritizing effective client care. As part of Diamond Behavioral Health Center, you will utilize technology to reach clients in their homes, helping them navigate their mental health journeys without the barriers of traditional in-office appointments. Additionally, our team enjoys a culture of collaboration, with regular case consultations and peer review meetings that enhance the quality of client care.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting these techniques to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring that client information is protected.
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated treatment team, actively engaging in discussions about treatment strategies and client progress.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic skills will primarily serve adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues. Clients may present with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other complex emotional challenges. By building rapport and employing tailored therapeutic techniques, you will support clients in developing coping strategies and resilience, guiding them toward improved overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice within the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
  • A strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and the ability to apply them to diverse client situations.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience in telehealth or remote therapy delivery.
  • Previous direct experience working with trauma-informed care approaches.
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Benefits include:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.
  • Life and disability insurance for financial security.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage for peace of mind.
  • An employee assistance program providing resources and support during challenging times.
  • Unlimited referrals, giving you the opportunity to maintain a fulfilling caseload.
  • Minimal paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on client care rather than administrative tasks.
