Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a hardworking and dependable General Labor Associate in Jackson, GA. In this hands-on and physically active role, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations at a tire recycling plant while working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. In a General Labor job you’ll be responsible for:
  • Assisting with tire sorting, loading, and processing operations.
  • Removing debris and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Supporting equipment operators and plant staff as needed.
  • Following all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Performing general labor duties in an outdoor recycling facility.

What you’ll need:
  • Ability to work outdoors under all weather conditions including hot sun, cold snaps, rain, and other weather elements.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
