Job Title: Audio Visual Programmer

Location: Wixom, MI or Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $40.00-50.00 per hour + overtime

Position Type: Full time permanent

Summary

The Audio/Visual Programmer is responsible for the creation of custom coding for the control of professional control processors, user interfaces and digital signal processors. As part of this process, close consultation with the System Design Engineer, Project Manager, and End User/Client is required. Documentation of system, operation (in the form of a user guide), and the ability to train clients on system use is also required. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation of custom coding for the control of professional control processors
  • Manage user interfaces and digital signal processors
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must have attended and passed a control manufacturer's programming course (Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC). Crestron is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a knowledge of DSP set-up (Biamp, QSC, BSS).
  • Must be able to follow a SOW.
  • Must be able to read system drawings.
  • Must have a good understanding of how an AV system operates.
  • Must be able to train clients on installed systems.
  • Must have basic knowledge of networking.
  • Crestron Silver certification preferred.
