We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused A/V Technician to support high-profile meetings, live events, conference rooms, and enterprise collaboration technologies. This role is responsible for delivering reliable audio-visual support, maintaining conference room readiness, troubleshooting A/V systems, and supporting Zoom environments across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with live event production, conferencing technologies, and executive-level support in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Pay rate :$25/hr on w2 to $31/hr on w2
Responsibilities: - Provide operational support for live in-person, hybrid, and broadcast events, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of professional A/V systems.
- Operate and support presentation hardware such as video switchers, audio mixers, PTZ cameras, DSPs, and conferencing technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot enterprise A/V technologies including QSC, Yamaha, Vizrt, Ross, Barco, Blackmagic, Cisco, Logitech, Zoom Rooms, and Teams environments.
- Deliver white-glove A/V support for C-Suite executives and high-profile meetings.
- Perform conference room readiness checks, testing, firmware/software updates, and ongoing maintenance of A/V systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to microphones, displays, cameras, CPUs, DSPs, and collaboration platforms.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation, resolution details, and SLA compliance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless A/V service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications: Required - 3-5 years of experience supporting Audio/Visual technologies in a corporate environment, with strong event support experience.
- Hands-on expertise with conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong understanding of A/V signal flow, acoustic principles, and IP networking fundamentals.
- Experience supporting professional A/V systems, DSPs, cameras, audio/video control systems, and live event technologies.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to confidently support C-Suite executives.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred - Experience with broadcast technologies, encoders, NDI/SRT workflows, or advanced production tools.
- Basic troubleshooting experience with Windows and macOS platforms related to A/V and conferencing technologies.
