WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Propane Delivery Driver, accuracy, safety, and timeliness will be your top priorities! You'll represent our business while on the road, following all trucking laws and treating every customer and their property respectfully. Communication is also a vital aspect, as you'll go to your manager for help with any questions, concerns, problems, accidents, mistakes, etc. You will:

  • Uphold high safety standards by attending required safety meetings, following all DOT/DMV regulations, and informing your manager about any issues
  • Follow checklists to make sure we're meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets
  • Inspect your truck and fill out a DVIR every day
  • Accurately document every delivery
  • Keep your truck in good mechanical condition by following service recommendations and promptly scheduling maintenance/repair services
  • Maintain NFPA 58 and 54 standards for Driver Safety and Leak and Pressure Check requirements
  • Maintain required endorsements (CDL, Hazmat, and Tanker)
  • Complete required DOT physicals

OUR IDEAL PROPANE DELIVERY DRIVER

  • 3+ years of experience in the trucking industry
  • Ability to understand and apply NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage your time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, execution, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred, not required - high school diploma or GED
