Project Manager - EV Infrastructure
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Land Development Project Manager to join our EV Infrastructure team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Requirements
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Take full accountability for multiple EV Infrastructure projects and clients at once.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
  • Support the electrical engineering aspects of EV Charging Facilities.
  • Support the electrical engineering aspects of Energy Storage Projects.
  • Oversee the review of utility service/interconnection requirements for various utilities and manage the technical portions of service/interconnect applications for EV clients.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other project disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical/structural engineers, and surveyors.
  • Ability to conduct electrical engineering design and develop construction documents for EV projects.
  • Stay updated on the latest equipment and industry best practices.
  • Manages land development civil engineering projects efficiently (meets schedules and budgets)
  • Administers the construction services portions of projects including RFI response, site meetings with contractors, etc.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
  • Strong knowledge of utility service requirements and interconnection processes.
  • Basic understanding of electrical calculations and studies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project manager or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
