Job description

Shape the future of E-commerce by transforming supplier partnerships into strategic advantages for Amazon's Consumables Private Brands business. As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you'll directly influence the success of Amazon's own private brand portfolio - a global range of consumables products built to meet customers' daily needs - and play a crucial role in scaling these brands on the world's largest e-commerce platform.
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Customer Success Manager supporting strategic supplier partnerships within the Consumables Private Brands organization. In this role, you'll drive business growth, enhance supplier satisfaction, and improve customer experience through data-driven insights and collaborative relationship building. You'll work closely with Private Brand stakeholders across WW Consumables, implementing tactical plans, providing strategic guidance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that create measurable impact for both vendors and customers. You have strong financial acumen, a high attention to detail, and a healthy obsession for the rapidly evolving world of consumer packaged goods and product innovation.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with private brand suppliers to develop and execute strategic business plans across marketing, merchandising, and supply chain management, with a focus on scaling selection on .com based on market trends and customer needs.
Analyze category P&L performance on a weekly and monthly basis, monitoring profitability goals and diving deep where needed to drive continuous improvement.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships while serving as the primary point of contact for private brand supplier needs, influencing stakeholders and helping them understand brand positioning, key points of difference, and target customer.
Guide suppliers through Amazon's tools, policies, and growth opportunities while partnering closely with supply chain to support operational planning, forecasting, and inventory investments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercialization, Pricing, Instock Management, marketing, product development, finance, and transportation to deliver on net revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Develop a thorough understanding of the Consumables market, seasonality, and global trends, continuously monitoring competitor efforts and identifying new private brand selection opportunities.
Contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives that benefit the broader Consumables Private Brands organization
A day in the life
As a Sr. Customer Success Mgr, a typical day might include:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier inquiries and implement solutions across the private brand portfolio
Review and analyze category performance data to identify growth and profitability opportunities
Develop and present strategic recommendations to suppliers and internal stakeholders
Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on private brand strategy and innovation
Manage multiple projects while maintaining high service standards across the vendor base
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation or supply chain
- Experience at a relationship management role in an enterprise environment or equivalent
- Experience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activity
- Data analysis experience including manipulating large datasets from complex systems and interpreting results
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of doing one of several roles: management consulting, investment banking analyst/associate, or brand manager role at leading consumer packaged goods company experience
- Experience with Salesforce, OBI, SQL, SharePoint, and Tableau
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience in process improvement/quality control tools and methods
- Associate's degree or above, or Advanced technical degree
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience in project management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
