Job description

Project Assistant will support student engagement and ongoing projects in Food Studies and at CRAFT, to be determined by that year's expected research and co-curricular activities. This assistant works with faculty and staff in tracking and promoting these activities and events. They are responsible for social media and information sharing. This is a Graduate Student Employment position.
Tasks include:
  • Keeping track of existing and emergent activities and events
  • Providing assistance with scheduling and promotion of events and activities
  • Supporting newsletter and other communications within Chatham
  • Advancing knowledge about these projects to the FSSE community

No specific skills are required but experience with event organization, group dynamics and communities of practice a plus. A willingness to learn and promote research and projects as well as good communication skills are also helpful.
All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
