Job description

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) in the MRO LOGISTICS DIVISION of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
The duty location of this position is San Diego, CA.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Assisting in making decisions affecting the efficiency of complex aircraft and engine rework, manufacturing, components and assembly of operations using multiple process production methods;
2) Tracking and recommending to the appropriate contacts expedites of component overhaul and repair actions to ensure routed and manufactured parts are available on scheduled due dates;
3) Being responsible for Dispatch List Execution, Shop Loading, Full Knitting and Work Center Input and Output Control, including Work in Process (WIP) status accuracy;
4) Responding to inquiries regarding production status, schedule delays, and planned resolutions; and
5) Coordinating and reporting work center down time, manpower constraints, and reprocessing requirements.
