Job description

This job opportunity is for an PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), position description D0749000, within the 177TH FTR WG of the New Jersey National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.

Qualifications:General Experience:
Experience, education, or training that demonstrates a solid knowledge of equipment maintenance work, skill in interpreting technical data or specifications, and proficiency using computerized/automated databases
Specialized Experience:
Must have 24 months of experience, education or training in the following:
  • Directly coordinating, monitoring, and controlling maintenance activities
  • Following up to see if work is progressing as planned
  • Experience with current automation support programs to input data
  • Tracking fleet health,
  • Dispatching specialists
  • Managing flightline communications
  • Executing emergency response checklists
