OnePointOne (OPO) is developing the world's most advanced indoor plant production facility. We seek to develop and deploy a global network of industrial-scale automated indoor farms, giving OPO the unique ability to support and augment much of the world's plant production in a wide variety of industries. OPO's mission is to aid in nourishing the OnePointOne billion people that began this millennium hungry, while preserving the Earth and her resources. About the Role

You want to help create new and exciting technologies with a global presence from the ground up. As Engineering Product Manager, you will be a critical contributor in setting and executing product strategy to deliver and exceed business and technology goals. 

Collaborating across marketing, sales, product, farm ops, engineering, plant science, market development, program management, and other key business stakeholders, you will support delivery of the OnePointOne technology GTM strategy and technology roadmap. You are driven, curious, dynamic and highly motivated, but most importantly, thrive in a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment with a genuine interest in OnePointOne's mission to change the way humanity is nourished. We are looking for a full-time product manager to assist in the development of our indoor vertical farm.

What You'll Do

  • Identify business requirements and/or user goals that the technology must satisfy
  • Operate, maintain and update the financial operating model for the technology. Create clear assumptions regarding technology operational costs and run models to determine the economic viability of particular business 
  • Define product vision, create and maintain a product roadmap, and help identify growth opportunities within the company based upon business imperatives 
  • Work alongside Program Management to help plan and prioritize product feature backlog(s) and development of that product
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders 
  • Assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work provides maximum value and aligns with product strategy 
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prepared tasks to complete in upcoming sprints
  • Provide an active role in mitigating roadblocks that may impede completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new   functionalities
  • Research and analyze the users & customers to help create personas that will guide future company direction
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends


What We're Looking For

  • Passion for OnePointOne's mission and for developing new and exciting technologies. 
  • Proven track record of results driven planning and execution
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years experience in product innovation, brand marketing, strategy development
  • Small company and/or startup experience a plus
  • Clear demonstration of internal and external cross-functional partnership and strong collaborative approach; a natural partner advocate with penchant for developing win-win solutions
  • Project management skills, with experience both developing and executing strategy
  • Must be able to perform under pressure, short deadlines and in high visibility settings with a bias for action and sense of urgency
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment is a plus
  • Exceptional work ethic and sense of ownership and accountability
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Superb presentation, oral and communication skills
